Footballer Di María returns to youth club Rosario

BUENOS AIRES (ANP/RTR) - Argentine striker Ángel Di María returns to the club of his youth years Rosario Central. The club from the Argentine Primera División has announced the return of the 37-year-old footballer.

“Our history together has more pages to fill. Welcome home,” Rosario said on X.

Di María came through Rosario's youth academy and made his debut for the club in 2005. He moved to Benfica in 2007 and played for Real Madrid, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain and Juventus before returning to Benfica, where he announced last week that he would not be available for next season.
