The fire broke out on Saturday (24 May) in the evening in one of the warehouses in the town of Kawęczyn . As reported by the State Fire Service, the services received a report of a fire in the warehouse in Kawęczyn at 9:38 p.m. However, the fire quickly spread to the second hall.

The fire spread to a hall of an unspecified size, and the first fire brigades that arrived at the scene were unable to contain the flames. Due to the escalation of the threat, the command decided to send additional units from the entire Piaseczno district and neighboring municipalities - writes Miejski Reporter.
