Two large marches in Warsaw. Hundreds of thousands of people went with Trzaskowski and Nawrocki [PHOTOS]
Trzaskowski's supporters moved from Bankowy Square to Konstytucji Square, and Nawrocki's supporters moved from de Gaulle Roundabout to Castle Square.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk took part in Trzaskowski's "Great Patriots March". PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński walked in Nawrocki's "March for Poland".
The gatherings were held safely. According to preliminary estimates, around 140,000 people took part in the KO candidate's march, and around 50,000 for Nawrocki.
On Sunday (25 May) at noon , two marches began in the capital, organised by the staffs of the presidential candidates: Rafał Trzaskowski (KO) and Karol Nawrocki, supported by PiS.

Trzaskowski's supporters moved from Bankowy Square to Konstytucji Square, and Nawrocki's supporters - from de Gaulle Roundabout to Castle Square.
This is the first time since 1989 that two marches of competing presidential candidates took place in one city at the same time.

The "Great Patriots' March", organized by Trzaskowski's staff, was attended by, among others, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Speaker of the Sejm, head of Poland 2050 Szymon Hołownia, Deputy Speaker of the Senate Magdalena Biejat from the Left, as well as the winner of the recent presidential elections in Romania, Nicusor Dan.

The "Great Patriots March" passed from Bankowy Square, along Marszałkowska Street, to Konstytucji Square.
The march participants, who began by singing the anthem, have white and red flags with them, some are also holding EU flags. Banners were visible, for example, with Trzaskowski's election slogan: "All Poland forward".

At 12 noon the competing "March for Poland" of Karol Nawrocki's supporters also started.

The participants of the march supporting Nawrocki gathered at the de Gaulle roundabout and went to Castle Square. In addition to the presidential candidate, the march was attended by PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński and leading PiS politicians, including Elżbieta Witek, Przemysław Czarnek and Mariusz Błaszczak.

The march participants carried white-and-red flags and banners expressing support for Nawrocki, and chanted slogans such as "God, honour and fatherland".
The second round of elections, in which Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki will face off, will take place on June 1.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk summed up that the march of Trzaskowski's supporters gathered half a million participants.
The organizers of the march in support of Karol Nawrocki initially announced that 100,000 people took part, and later 200,000.

According to unofficial preliminary estimates by city services, around 140,000 people took part in the march in support of the KO candidate, and around 50,000 people took part in the gathering of Nawrocki's supporters.

In connection with the need to ensure an appropriate level of security on Sunday, a regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration introduced a ban on carrying or carrying unloaded weapons of any kind within the area of the capital city of Warsaw.
