Tomasz Siemoniak in "Graffiti"

- The services have been dealing with this for a long time in cooperation with the authorities responsible for air navigation, for the security of Polish airspace - said Tomasz Siemoniak, asked in Tuesday's "Graffiti" about reports of GPS signal disruptions in northern regions of Poland. As the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration pointed out, there is no doubt that Russia "has its fingers in this".

For several days, there have been reports of increased GPS signal disruptions in northern regions of Poland and in the Baltic Sea. Due to navigation irregularities, Monday's flight from Alicante to Bydgoszcz was redirected to Poznań. Finnish border and maritime transport services also reported problems in the Baltic Sea.

Ordinary tourists using private drones at the seaside also encounter problems - the devices lose signal, fly away in an unknown direction or fall into the water.

The matter was commented on in the "Graffiti" program on Polsat News by the Minister of Interior and Administration, who assured that the Polish services are approaching this issue with great care.

- This affects security, it affects the operations of our various military installations and military units - he argued.

GPS signal disruptions in northern Poland. Siemoniak: Russia has a hand in this

- Because it is happening in a small area - I am talking about the southern Baltic Sea - it also affects others, so it is absolutely unacceptable. However, looking at the Russian-Ukrainian war, or looking at the Israeli-Iranian war, the GPS signal, targeting, navigation, are becoming critical elements of these conflicts and of course we must draw conclusions from this and ensure the security of our systems - indicated Tomasz Siemoniak.

Asked whether it could be assumed that Russia was responsible for the actions, the Minister of Interior and Administration replied in the affirmative. "There is no doubt that Russia has a hand in this," he said.

- The services have been dealing with this for a long time in cooperation with the authorities responsible for air navigation, for the security of Polish airspace, and I do not want to go into details here, because these activities are not public, but we treat it extremely seriously - assured the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
