Swallows and urban development

– Recently, while taking part in the elections, I visited the headquarters of Przemyśl's Second General Secondary School. While there, I noticed a swallow's nest with young, which unfortunately will no longer be seen in the nearby Rycerskie housing estate. There used to be a lot of swallows there, now there are almost none, because people got rid of the nests that the birds built among the city buildings, for example by balconies. Yes, it can cause inconvenience, but in this way they got rid of birds that until now lived in symbiosis with people, so kudos to the secondary school for being guided by other premises and making sure that swallows have a place to live nearby.
