Lublin Voivodeship once again hosts the Tour de Pologne Women

Let us recall that our region is hosting this event for the second time. Last season, the ride of the colorful peloton gathered thousands of fans along the route, and the race was won by Dutchwoman Laura Molenaar.
This year's edition will begin on August 12 with a stage scheduled to start and finish in Zamość. On Tuesday, we finally learned the exact profile of this stage. And so, after the start, the cyclists will head south, towards Krasnobród. They will pass through this charming town, and will also visit Józefów, Zwierzyniec and Szczebrzeszyn. A flying bonus is planned in the latter city. The entire peloton will probably finish in Zamość, although it is possible that it may be slightly reduced during the ride through Roztocze. In total, there are 105 km to cover that day.
A day later, the cyclists will move to Chełm for a 99 km section. After the start, the peloton will head south and show itself to fans in Białopol. Later, it will pass Wojsławice and Rożdżałów, among others. At 66 km, a flying bonus of the Chełm Commune is planned. Later, the cyclists will ride to Rejowiec, and then go through Adamów towards Chełm, where the finish will take place. It is likely that the sprinters will compete for the triumph again.
The race will end on August 14 with a stage from Nałęczów to Kraśnik. This will be the longest section – it is 128 km long. This is also where the greatest emotions can be felt, because although there are no big mountains here, a whole host of smaller climbs can tire the sprinters a lot, and also encourage other competitors to break away. And there are places to do this, just to name towns like Godów, Urzędów, Zakrzówek or Szastarka. The intermediate bonuses are planned in Urzędów and Węgliska.
- The route is very beautiful. We are in the Lublin region and Roztocze, the first stage will start and end in Zamość, then, like a few years ago in the men's race, we will have a beautiful stage in Chełm, and the race will end with a section from Nałęczów to Kraśnik. The entire base of the race will be in the Arche Hotel in Nałęczów, which is also convenient because we do not have to change hotels. The stages will certainly be very beautiful and dynamic - comments Czesław Lang, General Director of Lang Team and Tour de Pologne.
The race will be broadcast on as many as two television stations, as both TVP Sport and Eurosport plan to cover it.
- All cycling races have this in them that they promote regions. The sports level and the fight are one thing, but as the Tour de Pologne we also promote Poland on the occasion of a sports event. We recall important anniversaries, events that took place in Poland. We talk about history, curiosities, we promote the starting cities, cities where there are bonuses, especially since the television signal will be produced by TVP Sport from start to finish. All the technology will make us in the middle of the peloton. We will provide the fans with a great sports spectacle - explains Czesław Lang.
