The iconic train with a view of the Tatras is back. Tickets cost just over PLN 20

From 14 June, tourists can once again enjoy the Beliansky Express train from Muszyna to Poprad. Rail enthusiasts have been waiting for this opportunity since February, when the winter train season ended. Summer connections will be operated every weekend until the end of the holidays. Passengers will certainly be interested in the low ticket prices - a ride on the entire route costs only 5 euros. There will certainly be no shortage of beautiful views along the way - from the train windows, passengers will see an impressive panorama of the Tatra Mountains.
The iconic train to the Tatra Mountains returnsA quick trip to Slovakia is a great idea to diversify your stay in the Tatras and Beskids. While tourists can reach our southern neighbors from Zakopane using one of several available bus connections , travelers vacationing in Muszyna will benefit from a direct train to Poprad from June 14. The Beliansky Express train launched by Slovak Railways runs every weekend until the end of the holidays. The train passes through charming villages and towns along the way - before reaching Poprad, the train stops in Stara Lubovna, Podoliniec and Studeny Potok, among others. However, the greatest impression on passengers is made by the vast view of the panorama of the Tatra peaks, which can be observed from the slightly less frequented, Slovak side.
The ticket price is surprisingTravelling by Beliansky Express from Poland to Slovakia is really cheap. The cost of a ticket for the entire two-hour route from Muszyna to Poprad is just 5 euros, and for shorter sections – from 2 to 4 euros. Passengers can also pay for the journey in złoty, but only directly at the train station, before the train departs (courses run twice a day, morning and evening). The youngest up to 6 years of age are provided with free travel, and children and adolescents aged 6-16 years will receive a ticket with a 50 percent discount. Passengers can also transport a bicycle for a fee of 1.5 euros (limited number of seats).
