Algarvian breed goat once again takes center stage in Terra de Maio in Azinhal

Terra de Maio, also known as Feira da Cabra, is back in Azinhal between the 23rd and 25th of May, at the Centro Multiusos, with the best traditions and flavours of the Algarve countryside, as well as good music and entertainment with a national signature.

The knowledge and flavours associated with the Algarvian Breed Goat are once again highlighted, in a programme that includes concerts, crafts, traditional products, taverns, regional gastronomy, animal exhibitions, cheese making, showcookings , folklore and children's entertainment.

Visitors to Terra de Maio will also be able to take part in equestrian demonstrations, the Algarvian Goat competition and the usual seminars.

The program for this year's edition includes a concert by Rebeca on May 23, Quim Barreiros the following day and, to close, Sons do Minho on May 25.

Azinhal, one of the most traditional villages in the municipality, is once again the centre of attention during the Terra de Maio weekend, in an initiative organised by the Castro Marim Municipal Council and the Azinhal Parish Council .
