New competitions for the Mealhada and Santa Luzia Health Center

The Mealhada Council has announced that it will launch new public tenders for two projects in which the first tenders were unsubscribed, namely the requalification of the Mealhada Health Centre and the conversion of the former Feira de Santa Luzia site into a support space for pilgrims.
In the previous competition, the base value was 1.8 million euros.
In the interiors, the work is based on the renovation of ceilings and floors, doors, wall protection, cabinets, counters and the necessary adaptations for better functionality.
"The work will be carried out on the exterior, with the removal of existing roof coverings and the installation of new waterproofing systems and tiles; the installation of new frames with thermal break and double glazing, as well as the installation of a thermal insulation system and painting", informs the Municipality's statement.
The Municipality of Mealhada informs that the project aims to convert the old butchers' shops at the fair and the fair space itself into a support space for pilgrims.
"The work includes the conversion of the existing building, remodeling and strengthening of the rainwater drainage system, repaving of public spaces, with the installation of equipment and installation of green areas", the note adds.
