Fire damages interior of barn in Borovichi

Firefighters from Borovichi were dispatched to extinguish a fire in an outbuilding on February 24. The flames damaged the interior of the barn and the items located there. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was a short circuit in the electrical wiring. There were no reports of casualties or deaths, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Novgorod Region reported.

This time, only a part of the shed with an area of about two square meters was damaged by fire. But two days ago, in the Valdai district, a short circuit led to a severe fire that completely destroyed not only the shed, but also a residential building.
