In Smolensk, the Russian tricolor flag was unfurled on the Dnieper embankment

On the Day of the State Flag of Russia, a solemn patriotic event was held at the Smolensk fortress wall. It was attended by veterans of the special military operation, representatives of the regional administration, law enforcement agencies, volunteers and active residents of Smolensk.

The celebration was highlighted by a large-scale unfurled national flag measuring 10×15 meters. Victory Volunteers activists handed out tricolor ribbons and leaflets on the rules for using national symbols to the participants.

The event included patriotic speeches and musical numbers. The event ended with a group photo session against the backdrop of the flag.
