Preparations for the September elections continue in the Novgorod Region. Let us recall that several campaigns will be held in the region at once: early gubernatorial elections and municipal deputy elections in the districts. The regional election commission clarifies: the elections will be held at 520 polling stations in total. As of July 1, 468,016 voters were registered in the region.

"All voters can come to the polling stations on any of the three days, because the voting will take place over several days. The Novgorod Region Electoral Commission, which is organizing the elections, has set September 12, 13, and 14 for voting," Tatyana LEBEDEVA, chairperson of the regional electoral commission, told journalists at a recent briefing.

As for municipal campaigns, there are 15 of them planned. 222 mandates will be filled. It is planned to use 333 polling stations. The number of voters who can receive 2 ballots - for the elections of the regional governor and for the elections of deputies to representative bodies - is 251,076 people.

Residents of the region have three ways to participate in the voting this year:

  • come to your polling station at your place of registration with your passport,
  • submit a special application in advance to vote at your place of residence,
  • register online and take advantage of the opportunity for remote electronic voting .
