Pharmland acquired the Unipharma pharmacy chain.
Effective as of this date, Victoria Litvinova has been appointed General Director of Unipharma. The letter clarifies that all current contracts and obligations of the company remain in effect, and the company will continue operations as usual, including deliveries, settlements, and marketing projects.
Unipharm noted that the acquisition of the asset by the pharmaceutical retailer Pharmland will mark a new stage in the chain's development and will strengthen its position in the pharmaceutical market.
According to the Vademecum Analytical Center, Pharmland is one of the top ten leaders in the Russian pharmaceutical market. In the first six months of 2025, the chain's revenue amounted to 47.1 billion rubles. As of July 1, 2025, Pharmland managed 2,571 pharmacies. With these figures, the company ranked 8th in the "TOP 200 Pharmacy Chains in Russia" ranking for the first half of this year.
Unipharma ranked 138th in the same ranking, with a turnover of 410 million rubles and 16 points of sale in the first half of 2025.
The Pharmland chain is actively expanding its geographic presence through M&A deals with regional and Moscow-based players. In 2021, Pharmland entered the Moscow market by acquiring 20 pharmacies of the former Floria chain. Later, in 2022, the company acquired 144 pharmacies of the Orenburg-based OrenLek chain and attempted to acquire the Ekonom pharmacy chain, but the deal was put on hold. Then, in 2024, the Ufa-based retailer took over the management of 18 pharmacies of the Rosapteka chain, which is affiliated with Unipharma.
