The winners of the "Common Sense" literary prize in medicine have been announced.

The best medical books of the seventh season:

• Four winners were determined in the special nomination “Best Book Idea” :
Arina Koptyaeva, with the idea of a collection of stories from the practice of an anesthesiologist-resuscitator with a public health education focus on the specifics of emergency medical care, and Denis Turyanitsa, with the idea of a book on autonomic dysfunction: from the study of the innervation of internal organs and the evolution of the concept of vegetative-vascular dystonia to a modern explanation of the symptoms and complaints traditionally associated with it. They will have the opportunity to publish the books with MEDprof Publishing House.
Maxim Rykov, with an idea for a book about how paintings influenced the development of medical science, with illustrations of works by contemporary artists created during treatment, and Denis Filatov, with an idea for a book about mental disorders based on clinical examples of famous people's illnesses, are at BOMBOR publishing house.

The Zdravomyslie literary prize is a bridge between medical science and society: it identifies and supports books that expand medical knowledge and inspire people to care for themselves, their loved ones, and the health of the nation," says Badma Bashankayev, State Duma Deputy, First Deputy Chairman of the Healthcare Committee, surgeon, and jury member of the Zdravomyslie-2025 prize.
The National Literary Prize in Medicine, "Common Sense," was created to support medical practice, popularize basic biomedical knowledge in society, promote a healthy lifestyle, and cultivate a culture of health.
The 2025 Zdravomyslie Prize marks its seventh year, with over 160 submissions received. Books on healthy longevity, anti-aging medicine, and practices for maintaining health in adulthood are widely represented. A significant number of submissions also included books on popular psychology, mental well-being, and practical parenting guides on childcare and maintaining family health.
The award ceremony will take place on October 23, 2025, in Moscow.
