New 100 and 10 TL banknotes in circulation

It was stated that the new series banknotes have the same size, design, and security features as the previous series, while emphasizing that the only difference is the signatures on them. The statement said, “Compared to the previous series 100 TL and 10 TL banknotes of the E9 Emission Group currently in circulation, the signatures on the VI. series 100 TL and VII. series 10 TL banknotes have been arranged to belong to our President Dr. Fatih Karahan; on the 100 TL banknotes, to our Vice President Prof. Dr. Hatice Karahan; and on the 10 TL banknotes, to our Vice President Dr. Osman Cevdet Akçay. Except for the signatures on them, the banknotes in question are completely identical to the previous series in terms of their dimensions, front and back compositions, and general qualities and appearance. The new series banknotes will circulate together with the previous series banknotes.”
