Zeki Başeskioğlu, who left his mark on Turkish fashion history with his Zeki Triko brand, has passed away. Başeskioğlu, who made a name for himself with his work with world-renowned models, particularly in the 1980s and 1990s, was announced by his family.

The death of Ahmet Zeki Başeskioğlu, the founder of Zeki Triko, one of Türkiye's well-established fashion brands, was announced to the public by his granddaughter, Buse Başeskioğlu, via a post on her social media account.

The family shared the following statement: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Ahmet Zeki Başeskioğlu. His funeral prayer will be held at the Şişli Teşvikiye Mosque on Sunday, October 19th, followed by burial in the Kilyos Cemetery."
