Environmentally friendly electric vehicles to compete

While intensive R&D studies are being carried out in our country and around the world regarding increasing domestic production of electric and hydrogen powered vehicles, developing products with high added value, and battery-powered vehicles, which are the technologies of the future, the use of electric vehicles in our daily lives is becoming more widespread. The International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races, which aim to create the most efficient vehicles from design to technical equipment, are organized in two categories: Electromobile (Battery Electric) and Hydromobile (Hydrogen Powered). All university students studying in our country and abroad can participate in the competition.

As a result of the competition, the young people who won in two categories will be presented with a prize of 250 thousand TL to the first place, 200 thousand TL to the second place, and 150 thousand TL to the third place.

Students studying at high schools and equivalent schools in Turkey and abroad participate in the Inter-High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races organized by TÜBİTAK . The competition aims to raise awareness among high school students about alternative and clean energy sources, provide students with technical, professional and teamwork experience, and provide technical support and human resources for the development of electric vehicles in our country.

The competition aims to increase domestic production of vehicles running on electricity and hydrogen energy, develop products with high added value, provide participants with the opportunity to research alternative energies, follow developments around the world and gain experience. In the competition, the first place team will be awarded 200 thousand TL, the second place team 150 thousand TL and the third place team 120 thousand TL.
