Nationwide success of a student of ZPSM in Przemyśl

The National Cello Competition "Cellolove" organized in Krakow has come to an end, and its course turned out to be a pleasant surprise for the community of the A. Malawski State Music School Complex in Przemyśl. Helena Strzelec, a student of the institution, came away from the national competition with a high, 3rd place.

"Cellolove" is an important event for all cello enthusiasts. On April 25 and 26, the organizer - the B. Rutkowski Primary and Secondary Music School in Krakow - hosted as many as 64 talented young cellists from all over Poland competing in five age groups, who presented their skills in front of a large audience and a professional jury.

The jury (dr hab. Dorota Imiełowska, prof. dr hab. Tadeusz Samerek and prof. dr hab. Zdzisław Łapiński) did not have an easy task this year. In their opinion, the youth approached their performances with great commitment and basically every presentation was noteworthy. Ultimately, however, they had to choose the winners. Among the best was Helena Strzelec, a representative of ZPSM in Przemyśl, who managed to stand on the podium, taking 3rd place in the competition.

The young student of musical art is studying in the cello class of Magdalena Jarosz, and during the performance she was accompanied on the piano by Łukasz Magdziak. Participation in the national competition was an opportunity for her to present and exchange experiences. Let it also be an inspiration for further development.
