Positive changes in the Przemyśl MDK and Kazimierzowski Castle

The city authorities announced two tenders for the development of design and cost documentation for the renovation and modernization of two cultural facilities in Przemyśl – the building housing the Youth Culture Center and the Kazimierzowski Castle.
All within the Integrated Territorial Investments of the Przemyśl Functional Urban Area. The two tenders mentioned are two partial tasks of one project called "Protection, development and promotion of the cultural heritage of the Przemyśl Functional Urban Area and services in the field of culture".
[middle1] There will be an elevator in MDKThe building of the Youth Culture Centre at the intersection of św. Józefa and Wybrzeża Ojca Świętego Jana Pawła II streets is a historic building (entered into the register of historic buildings on 21 November 2017). It was built before 1906. It has three storeys. In 2024, minor construction works were carried out there, including the replacement of sheet metal flashings, downpipes and downpipes, and reconstruction works on the eaves cornice crowning the building's façade.
The next works will have a much wider scope. The design documentation is to include, among others: vertical and horizontal damp-proofing and thermal insulation of the foundations, impregnation of the roof truss with replacement of the roof, reconstruction of the storm-rain installation, replacement of ventilation and electrical installation. The building's facade is to gain a new shine. Completely new elements are to be an internal elevator for the disabled, and the entire building is to gain light illumination...
