Man seriously injured after being attacked with an axe

The situation happened on Saturday night, around 10 pm, in a neighborhood in Bragança, following an altercation with another individual who threw an axe at his head.

The seriously injured man was admitted to the hospital in Bragança, but was later transferred to a hospital unit in Porto.

The PSP identified the suspect of the attack, who was also injured, and the case was transferred to the Judicial Police, which is now leading the investigation.
