Moscow's Tverskoy Court granted the request of the investigative bodies and remanded in custody Bidzin Khubutia, the former CEO of a Moscow prosthetic and orthopedic enterprise, as well as a representative of a Hungarian company and an intermediary between foreign firms. He is accused of fraud on an especially large scale within the framework of a contract for the supply of specialized robotic systems, TASS reports, citing a court ruling.
“The court decided to grant the motion of the preliminary investigation bodies to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention for B.N. Khubutia,” the document says.
